Automotive Industry — Delphi Corporation, Delphi Flint West Complex This project included the demolition and environmental remediation of Plant 10 and a water treatment plant. Adamo performed deep cleaning of the entire plant and owner-controlled assets. Work was completed on schedule, within budget and with no lost time due to worker injuries.
Automotive Industry — Demolition of GM Military Warehouse When the client requested discretion and low visual impact in accordance with announcing this demolition, Adamo answered with a plan of work that allowed minimal changes to the building’s façade. The project proceeded so that employees in a corporate headquarters building across the street were unaware of the demolition until the last front wall of the building was pulled down. As a result of Adamo’s conservation methods, 80 percent of the building materials in this project were recycled.
Commercial Redevelopment Industry — Demolition and environmental remediation, Wonderland Mall, Livonia, Michigan Adamo performed the demolition of this shopping mall and managed asbestos abatement and waste remediation. The project also included preparation for new construction including site work and UG Utilities.
Commercial Redevelopment Industry — Demolition and site restoration for Gary New Century, LLC, Gary, Indiana Experienced in environmentally sensitive projects, Adamo completed this work directly adjacent to Lake Michigan in accordance with federal, state and local regulations with no disturbance to the waterway.
Government/Municipality Projects — Demolition and environmental remediation, State of Michigan Riverfront Silo Project Adamo demolished these silos as part of the Detroit Riverfront Promenade project, work included asbestos abatement and waste remediation.
Government/Municipality Projects — Demolition of the coagulation basin of Waterworks Park II for Detroit Water Constructors Completed several weeks ahead of schedule, Adamo demolished an existing water treatment facility and its reservoirs. The client’s exact specifications were then met with the excavation of new reservoirs.
