In order to realize our goal we have developed a Culture of Safety which ensures an injury-free environment and provides the safest workplace possible for our employees, subcontractors, clients and all who enter or are near our job sites.

Planning
Each project begins with the preparation of a detailed Site Specific Health, Safety and Operations Plan allocating resources and procedures for site specific health and safety, employee medical surveillance and monitoring, regulatory compliance, personal protective equipment (PPE), environmental safeguards, and safety considerations unique to each project.
Process
Adamo's Corporate Health and Safety Program provides the foundation for a project-specific program to protect personnel on our job sites from injury, occupational health hazards, and for the protection of the client’s assets and property. Adamo maintains an extensive fleet of excavators with specialized tooling and attachments, loaders, dozers, compactors and other specialized heavy equipment. A comprehensive preventative maintenance program incorporating factory-certified mechanics, coupled with an aggressive equipment/tooling replacement policy, enables our utilization of the latest technological operational and safety features available for the demanding demolition environment. To ensure employee safety and performance optimization of our equipment, Adamo observes inspection and maintenance standards established by the National Demolition Association (NDA), which in part consists of the following routines:
From 2004 thru 2010, Adamo has expended over one-million man-hours with an average OSHA Recordable Incident Rate of 0.95 and a current EMR of 0.72.
